On my Android phone, I get a “Unfortunately, (apps) has stopped.” message, and this happens for most apps. How do I solve this?

This is the most common issue which frequently occurs in Android Devices. If you face this issue frequently then it is the time to check the available memory on your Device. Here I have few tips to fix this issue

  1. Uninstall all the unnecessary apps from your device. Keep the important apps only on your device. It will help you to save a lot of memory on your device.
  2. Clear the cache of the problematic app. To clear the cache go to the Settings=>App Management=> Choose the App=> Clear the Cache.
  3. Check for an app update. If an update is available, then please update the app to the latest version.
  4. If you still face the issue, please uninstall the app and reinstall the app into your device.
  5. Transfer moveable data and apps into the external Micro SD Card.
  6. Also, update the Google Play Store if an update is available.
  7. If you still face the issue, then, please uninstall the app from the app from your smartphone and remove Google Account from the device. Then add the Google Account again into the device and install the app again into the device. Remember to restart the device after removing the Google Account from the smartphone.
  8. Reset the device of none of the above tricks are not working for you. But before you go for a Factory reset please make sure that you have backed up all the data as the factory reset will wipe off all the data from the device.

I think this answer was helpful for you to fix “Unfortunately App Has Stopped” issue on your Android Device.

I have sometimes had this problem.

  • First clean the phone’s memory and all running Apps. Some mobile phones are installed with an App which does this automatically otherwise switching your phone off and turning it back on will kill running Apps anyway.
  • Use an App to clean your phone’s memory and storage and try to restart the App.
  • If that fails you can often start the App by going to Google Play or the IPhone App Store and both know the App is already installed but you can open the App from those stores without reinstalling the Apps.
  • If all the above fails reinstall the App,
